A short movie about Shodan Shiken (black belt exam) at LEMMENS Martial Arts Academy in Heide, Germany. The participants have to work through three days of strenght and conditioning tests, Karate technique tests, a written exam and beforehand, they have to write an essay about a Karate related topic which they have to submit to be even allowed to take part. This - is no belt factory.
